Job summary

Truist Bank is seeking an experienced professional to ensure quality financial reporting for business activities within the Line of Business. The role serves as a liaison with Corporate Policy, supporting policy updates and clarifications, and overseeing management reporting, FRM, and accounting controls.

The position requires on-site work at Truist Plaza in Atlanta, five days per week in the office, with responsibilities spanning monthly close, regulatory reporting, and external disclosures to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and related training.
• Five years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Ability to take direction and work independently with broader implications.
• Ability to build consensus through clear communication of information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound and logical decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assured financial reporting for the LOB and support monthly close processes.
• Act as liaison with Corporate Policy and ensure policy clarity and compliance.
• Lead management reporting and analytics, including GAAP controls and regulatory disclosures.
• Develop and review SEC and regulatory filings to ensure SOX compliance.
• Identify data requirements for management reporting and support data quality initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining internal controls over financial reporting and accounting processes.
