Corning Inc. is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst, C&B in the United States. You will manage monthly compensation & benefits costs, close processes, forecasting, and provide insight-driven analyses to support executive decisions.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, strong US GAAP knowledge, and expert Excel skills plus PowerPoint/Word proficiency. You will partner with multiple teams to develop budgets and long-range plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial close processes.
• Expert Excel, with PowerPoint and Word proficiency.
• Analytical mindset with writing and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to own tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly C&B closing processes, validate results and reconcile balances.
• Prepare monthly actual/forecast presentations for Ops Controller and Director.
• Provide financial analysis on cost drivers and ad-hoc requests.
• Develop and report corporate performance metrics tied to variable compensation.
• Publish corporate budget guidelines for Finance and partners.
• Collaborate with Compensation and Benefits teams for analytics.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and long-range planning with partners.
• Deliver finance analysis to senior management and drive improvements.
