Southland Industries is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, Finance & Accounting to serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Operations, and Technology & Innovation.

You will support and optimize Accounting, Job Costing, and operational workflows, aligning with ERP modernization and automation initiatives. The role requires strong business analysis, procurement, vendor management, and construction operations experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years supporting Finance, Accounting, ERP, or enterprise apps in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting: job costing, AP/AR, GL, WIP, revenue recognition.
• Experience supporting business apps, enhancements, and vendor partnerships.
• Strong business analysis: requirements, mapping, gap analysis, change mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Finance/Accounting technology solutions including ERP.
• Provide Tier 3 application support and resolve complex issues.
• Investigate issues with users, vendors, and tech resources to identify root causes.
• Manage vendor escalations and coordinate software updates and patches.
• Maintain documentation, processes, and support procedures.
• Lead requirements workshops and translate needs into functional specs.
• Support enterprise ERP modernization and automation initiatives.
• Partner with Operations and Technology & Innovation to improve workflows.
