Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Finance & Accounting to bridge between Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Technology & Innovation. You will optimize ERP-driven workflows, support job costing, accounts payable, and project controls, and drive process improvements in a hybrid role aligned with our enterprise ERP initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance/accounting ERP, strong BA skills, and construction industry experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in Finance, Accounting, ERP, or enterprise apps; construction experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting incl. job costing, AP, AR, GL, and project controls.
• Experience supporting business applications, vendor collaboration, and issue resolution.
• Strong BA skills: requirements, process mapping, value stream mapping, gap analysis, testing, and change management.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technology partner to Finance, Accounting, and Construction Operations stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Provide Tier 3 support for ERP and related applications.
• Coordinate testing, deployments, and vendor escalations.
• Lead small-to-medium tech initiatives from requirements through deployment.
• Create functional requirements, process flows, test plans, and UAT scenarios.
