Zusammenfassung

Nextracker Inc. is seeking a Lead Tool Technician Mechanic to act as the senior technical resource for installation tooling and field support.

You will plan, deploy, calibrate, and troubleshoot tool systems across customer sites, coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure safe and efficient field execution. You will lead training and develop maintenance procedures, driving continuous improvement in reliability and customer satisfaction while ensuring EH&S

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, Maintenance Technology or related technical discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of experience supporting installation tooling, construction equipment, or related technical environment.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems with schematics and docs.
• Experience troubleshooting complex equipment problems and implementing safe corrective actions.
• Experience leading technical work at active sites with changing priorities and limited supervision.
• Experience delivering technical training and mentoring technicians.

Aufgaben

• Act as the senior technical resource for installation tooling and field deployments, resolving complex equipment issues.
• Plan, schedule, and execute delivery, setup, calibration, relocation, and demobilization of tool-support workshops.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and controls problems using schematics and diagnostics.
• Translate schematics and service docs into clear field instructions and corrective actions.
• Maintain Job Hazard Analyses, site safety plans, and EH&S documentation.
• Lead field tool-support activities with owners, customers, and teams across sites.
• Forecast tooling demand, schedules, and staffing in collaboration with management.
• Provide technical leadership and formal training to customers and internal staff.
