Qualifications

• Ability to perform on-site testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of large industrial engine or generator systems using diagnostic tools.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting capability.
• Skilled at interpreting test data and communicating findings in field reports.
• Professional, customer-facing communication with dealers and end users.
• Willingness to travel extensively (80%+).

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site testing, validation, and commissioning of large engine packages used in data center backup power applications.
• Analyze test data, interpret results, document findings, and drive closure of issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, and package-related issues at customer sites.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to capture performance data and validate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to resolve field issues.
