Job summary

Twining Inc. in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a Lead Field Test Technician to support specialized field testing and inspection services for building enclosure, fenestration, waterproofing, roofing, air and water infiltration, and other project-specific scopes.

You will lead on-site testing activities and coordinate with project teams. Responsibilities include reviewing plans, setting up equipment, documenting results, and ensuring ASTM/AAMA compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of field testing, inspection, or building enclosure experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating field testing and documenting results.
• Ability to travel to local and out-of-area sites; OT as needed.
• OSHA training preferred and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead field testing and inspection on active construction projects.
• Coordinate site access, scheduling, and equipment readiness.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain field testing equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and test results.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, AAMA, and project specs; maintain safety.
• Mentor junior technicians; travel as required.
