Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction in Hillside, IL is seeking a Building Enclosure Field-Testing Lead / Project Specialist to join our Building Science Solutions team. The role focuses on field testing of fenestration systems, roofing and air barriers, with travel as required.

You will perform and lead standardized field tests, prepare reports and proposals, and collaborate with the field testing manager on schedules and equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with building enclosure systems and testing.
• Working knowledge of fenestration/window and other enclosure systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word) and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead standardized building enclosure field tests on windows, curtain walls and roofing systems.
• Prepare reports of field-testing results and proposals for new projects.
• Collaborate with field testing manager on schedules, training, equipment and material needs.
