Job summary

ECS Limited in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Field Technician to perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, and other construction materials on job sites. You will collaborate with experienced project management professionals to ensure quality and safety during field work.

You will draft field reports documenting site observations and test results, communicate daily with site contractors and project teams, and pursue ongoing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must maintain current basic level certifications and an additional 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites.
• Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt using industry standards.
• Develop field reports documenting site observations and testing results.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Support training and development in ECS methodologies.
