Job summary
American Battery Solutions is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to manage service-related mechanical and electrical issues across multiple product lines. You will lead 8D support, field service, and complex customer service case handling, including testing and validation of battery system functions.
You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to drive improvements, with travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems engineering.
- Minimum of five years working with complex electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience with lean and six-sigma problem solving.
- Highly collaborative with strong customer service orientation.
- Willingness to travel about 25% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct 8D issue documentation and solutions.
- Perform testing and analysis of battery systems per Engineering guidance.
- Create troubleshooting documentation and repair instructions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to improve production processes and tools.
- Review warranty data and advise engineering and suppliers.
