Job summary

Sitemetric is seeking a Field Tech III to own deployments and lead a pod of field technicians across our growing network of construction technology installations. You will train hires, supervise on-site teams, and ensure safety, quality, and reliability on every site.

This hands-on role covers IoT sensor deployment, wireless networking, device configuration, testing, and on-site mentoring. You will collaborate with enterprise teams, document activities, and maintain high professional standards

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience installing and deploying industrial sensor technologies (environmental, motion, proximity, BLE, NFC, LTE, RFID, or similar).
• 3+ years working in construction technology, industrial automation, or similar field deployed technology environments.
• OSHA 10 or 30 (Construction Site Safety)
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms and basic understanding of data integration
• Proven ability to work with customers and teams on large field projects

Responsibilities

• Train new Field Tech hires and provide mentorship.
• Manage a pod of 2-5 Field Techs—coordinate assignments and travel.
• Deploy and install IoT systems per specifications.
• Configure devices and test for data transmission and integration.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and restore systems.
• Document field activities and report to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project success.
• Organize daily activities and field operations independently.
