Strong T&D knowledge and field proficiency are required to navigate varied field conditions and deliver accurate data for transmission, substation, and distribution projects.

The role emphasizes QA/QC in the field, mentoring less experienced technicians, and ensuring safety and efficiency on projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years field survey or utility inspection experience.
• Experience in T&D environments and pole/conductor knowledge.
• Proficient with field data collection tools and documentation.
• Valid driver''s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground-based pole inspections and capture pole data.
• Observe conductors and document conditions using T&D knowledge.
• Conduct hammer sounding and pole testing with documented results.
• Capture field photography to standards; ensure quality records.
• Operate LiDAR equipment; manage data collection parameters.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and maintain safety.
