Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in Columbia, MD seeks a Senior Survey Crew Chief to lead in-field missions and ensure precise data capture from air, ground, and subsurface methods. You will guide a crew, work with advanced surveying tools, and deliver high-quality results on residential, commercial, and government projects.

The role requires extensive field experience, proficiency with total stations, data collection, and 3D scanning.

Qualifications

• 8 years of field survey experience and at least 5 years as Party Chief.
• Strong understanding of Survey and Mapping specifications and standards.
• Proficiency with data collectors, data collection techniques, coding, robotic instruments, and leveling.
• Knowledge of GPS control methods and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead field team; operate independently when required to complete field missions.
• Perform diverse surveys: ROW/Easement, utility, 3D scanning, control, construction layout, topography, ALTA surveys.
