Job summary

LaBella seeks an experienced Environmental Remediation Supervisor for its Environmental Construction Department. The role leads field teams on projects including UST removals, soil excavations, remediation systems, and site restoration.

You will ensure schedules, safety, and regulatory compliance while guiding junior staff. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in environmental contracting with 5+ in supervision, strong client interaction skills, and a willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of environmental contracting experience with at least 5 years in supervision.
• Ability to interact directly with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Clean, valid driver license; CDL not required but a plus.
• Knowledgeable in OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Willing to travel regionally.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER training with annual refreshers.
• OSHA 10 Hour construction safety training.
• OSHA 30 Hour construction safety training a plus.
• Experience with NYSDEC standby contracts a plus.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Discipline a plus.

Responsibilities

• On-site management of day to day operations on remediation projects
• Ensure projects adhere to scope of work and schedule
• Coordinate and perform mobilization/delivery of equipment and materials
• Prepare daily reports for field activities
• Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Assist Project Managers in development of scope of work, cost estimates and work flow
• Assist in training junior staff
