LaBella Associates is seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Supervisor for our Environmental Construction Department. This full-time role leads field teams through underground storage tank removals, soil excavations, system installations, bio-remediation, site restoration, and small demolitions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in environmental contracting with at least 5 years in supervision.
• Ability to interact with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Clean, valid driver license; CDL not required but a plus.
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Willingness to travel regionally.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER with annual refreshers.
• OSHA 10 Hour construction safety training; OSHA 30 a plus.
• Experience with NYSDEC standby contracts a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Supervisor for our Environmental Construction Department. Duties of this full time position include leading field teams conducting various environmental clean‑up activities including underground storage tank removals, contaminated soil excavations, installation of remediation systems, bio‑remediation, site restoration, and small demolitions.

Duties

• On‑site management of day to day operations on remediation projects
• Ensure projects adhere to scope of work and schedule
• Coordinate and perform mobilization/delivery of equipment and materials
• Prepare daily reports for field activities
• Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Assist Project Managers in development of scope of work, cost estimates and work flow
• Assist in training junior staff

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental contracting with at least 5 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to interact directly with clients and regulatory agencies
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A clean, valid driver license. Commercial Driver License (CDL not required but a plus)
• Knowledgeable in OSHA and DOT regulations
• Must be willing to travel (regional)
• Ability to operate heavy equipment
• 40 Hour HAZWOER training with annual refreshers
• OSHA 10 Hour construction safety training
• OSHA 30 Hour construction safety training a plus
• Experience with NYSDEC standby contracts a plus
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Discipline a plus

Salary Range: $30 - $40/hour

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
