Job summary

LaBella Associates is seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Supervisor for our Environmental Construction Department. This full-time role leads field teams through underground storage tank removals, soil excavations, system installations, bio-remediation, site restoration, and small demolitions.

The candidate will manage day-to-day operations on remediation projects, ensure adherence to scope and schedule, and coordinate equipment mobilization while maintaining safety standards and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in environmental contracting with at least 5 years in supervision.
• Ability to interact with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Clean, valid driver license; CDL not required but a plus.
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Willingness to travel regionally.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER with annual refreshers.
• OSHA 10 Hour construction safety training; OSHA 30 a plus.
• Experience with NYSDEC standby contracts a plus.

Responsibilities

• On-site management of day-to-day remediation project operations.
• Ensure projects adhere to scope of work and schedule.
• Coordinate mobilization and delivery of equipment and materials.
• Prepare daily field reports.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Assist Project Managers in scope development, cost estimates, and workflow.
• Assist in training junior staff.
