Job summary

Fessler & Bowman, Inc. is a longstanding leader in heavy civil and concrete construction, seeking a proactive Superintendent to oversee multiple project sites. You will manage budgets, manpower, and equipment while upholding safety and quality across locations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, advanced blueprint interpretation, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Travel to various sites is required.

Qualifications

• At least ten years in heavy civil or concrete construction.
• Five years in concrete or heavy civil construction as a job site leader.
• Proficient in interpreting complex blueprints and site plans.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations across multiple locations, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Develop and mentor concrete support crews including recruitment and training.
• Review and approve timesheets and daily reports by 10:00am.
• Make recommendations for equipment and staffing needs for assigned projects.
• Validate and schedule equipment, forms, and shoring for each job.
• Enforce constructability decisions and sequencing to meet quality standards.
• Hold foremen and site superintendents accountable for production rates.
