Job summary

Fessler & Bowman, Inc. is seeking a Site-Superintendent to supervise and schedule construction activities at local job sites, directing foremen and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with quality and safety compliance.

The role requires coordinating with the PM team, overseeing field operations, and maintaining strong communication with owners and stakeholders. Travel is required to support multiple projects.

Qualifications

• At least five years in concrete or heavy civil construction.
• Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple crews to ensure production targets and budget adherence.
• Attend client project meetings and negotiate change requests with the PM team.
• Ensure all equipment, forms, shoring, and safety controls are in place on site.
• Maintain a rolling four-week look-ahead for manpower across all projects.
• Daily communication with the PM on job progress and resolution of issues.
• Validate field adherence to scope of work and changes with written authorization.
