Job summary

Elmington Construction in Nashville, with operations across the US, seeks a skilled Superintendent to lead field teams, enforce safety, and manage on-site quality. You will coordinate subcontractors, review documents, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones for ground-up construction projects.

Qualifications

Degree preferred or experience substitution acceptable.
Minimum ten years related construction experience and/or training.
Commercial/multi-family construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads and models safety as a core guiding principle.
Holds teams accountable for proper project housekeeping and on-site organization.
Interfaces with Pre-Construction and PM teams to meet contract deliverables and reporting requirements.
Reviews project documents to anticipate RFIs and coordination issues.
Communicates material delivery needs and expedites as needed.
Leads subcontractor coordination meetings and addresses issues.
Produces daily, progress, and compliance reports.
Supports development and maintenance of the project schedule.
Identifies problems early and implements timely solutions.
Manages inspections and ensures specifications/submittals are met.
Drives project closeout and owner turnover.
Mentors and trains team members on EC policies and processes.
