Job summary

Elmington Construction seeks an Assistant Superintendent to lead the field team, oversee all on-site work, enforce quality standards, inspections, and safety, and coordinate with the PM team and subcontractors on ground-up residential and commercial projects.

A degree in Building Science, Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred (or equivalent experience), with at least ten years of construction experience, with multi-family experience appreciated, and a demonstrated ability to

Qualifications

A degree in Building Science, Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred, but can be substituted with experience.
Minimum of ten years related construction experience and/or training.
Commercial/Multi-Family Construction experience preferred.
OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred; if not current, to receive within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

Lead field team and oversee all on-site work with a focus on quality and safety.
Coordinate with PM team and subcontractors to ensure schedule adherence.
Review project documents to anticipate RFIs and coordination issues.
Assist in daily, progress, and compliance reports.
Support project planning, scheduling, and closeout activities.
