Job summary

Elmington Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to help lead the on-site field team and oversee all work on the construction site. You will ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and orderly site conditions while coordinating with the PM team and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes interpreting plans, scheduling, and documentation, with an emphasis on mentoring staff and upholding company policies. Travel may be required as project needs arise.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Science, Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred
• Minimum of ten years related construction experience and/or training
• Commercial/Multi-Family Construction experience preferred
• OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred or to be obtained within first year

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field team on site to ensure quality and safety standards
• Coordinate subcontractors, equipment, and materials
• Review project documents to pre-empt RFIs and coordination issues
• Assist in daily, progress, and compliance reporting
• Mentor and train team members and enforce EC policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
