Job summary

Samet Corporation in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on our Wilmington region projects. You will direct construction activities, coordinate trades, monitor safety, quality, and schedule, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.

You will build your direct reports, promote safety and quality, manage subcontractors, review drawings, and participate in CPM scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 7–10 years of construction experience with 3–5 years supervisory.
• Experience on commercial, institutional, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all construction activities on assigned projects.
• Coordinate work schedules and sequences among multiple trades.
• Monitor project progress and maintain construction schedules.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with codes.
• Review drawings, specifications and contracts; ensure safety protocols.
• Lead weekly coordination and pre-install meetings to support flow.
• Develop direct reports and manage subcontractor scopes of work.
