Job summary

Wohlsen Construction is seeking a Superintendent III to lead all field activities on a Sterling, VA project. You will manage field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver a quality project on time and within budget, reporting to the Project Executive.

You will coordinate planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts, review documents for constructability, and conduct weekly meetings to track progress, safety and upcoming work. CMIC daily reports will capture progress and weather data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction technology, Engineering or other related discipline or equivalent field experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of field construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage all field staff, subcontractors and vendors on the project.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all work on the project.
• Review contract documents to prepare bid proposals and provide constructability guidance.
• Manage punch lists and ensure deficient work is corrected before final inspection.
• Conduct weekly coordination meetings with foremen and review progress, safety and upcoming activities.
• Perform regular quality control inspections and ensure Wohlsen standards are met.
• Prepare weekly look ahead schedules for all trades.
• Submit daily CMIC reports detailing progress, delays, milestones and weather.
