Wohlsen Construction is seeking a Superintendent III to lead all field activities on a Sterling, VA project. You will manage field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver a quality project on time and within budget, reporting to the Project Executive.
You will coordinate planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts, review documents for constructability, and conduct weekly meetings to track progress, safety and upcoming work. CMIC daily reports will capture progress and weather data.
As a Superintendent 3 at Wohlsen Construction,you willmanage all field staff, subcontractors and vendors.You willoversee all activities tosuccessfullycomplete a single project of varying complexity.You willwork with the Project Team to produce a quality project on time and within a project budget.You will report to theProject Executive.
Salary: $135k-$175k
Have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as necessary and work additional hours as necessary to meet business goals. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
In a normal day, this position requires 4-6 hours of standing, sitting, and walking. In a normal day,the employeemust be able to drive1-4 hours. Employee must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. maximum; frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs. In this positionthe employeemust be able tousehis/herupper extremities for repetitive simple grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine manipulation. In this position,the employeefrequently (34-66%) bend at the waist, squat at the knees, climb (including ladders), and reach above shoulders. In this position, employee occasionally (0-33%)must be able tokneel, crawl, use feet (foot controls),and/orwork at heights above 6 feet.
