Job summary

Wohlsen Construction in Sterling, VA is seeking a Superintendent III to lead field staff, subcontractors and vendors on a single project. You will oversee planning, scheduling, coordination, and ensure work meets quality and budget expectations, reporting to the Project Executive.

Responsibilities include guiding site staff, reviewing documents for constructability, leading weekly coordination meetings, preparing look-ahead schedules, daily CMIC reporting, and assisting with cost and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction technology, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum 10 years of field construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead field staff, subcontractors and vendors to complete a project on time and within budget.
• Manage planning, scheduling and coordination of all work on a project.
• Review contract documents to prepare bid proposals and provide constructability guidance.
• Manage contractors to complete punch lists and ensure deficiencies are corrected before final inspection.
• Conduct weekly coordination meetings with foremen to discuss progress, schedule, safety and activities.
• Perform regular quality control inspections to ensure Wohlsen standards.
• Prepare weekly look ahead schedules for all trades and use CMIC to submit daily reports.
