Job summary

Groundworks, North America's leading and fastest-growing foundation repair and water management specialist, seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and cost control for foundation and related services.

You will manage multiple crews, coordinate subcontractors, and mentor field staff while upholding Groundworks’ standards and the employee ownership model that ties success to long-term results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in foundation repair, concrete lifting, or related groundwork.
• Strong knowledge of foundation repair techniques, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete leveling.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce them effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project schedules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise onsite construction activities specific to foundation repair and related groundwork services.
• Manage and coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Monitor project schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards on all job sites.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets design specifications and company standards.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Lead safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safety-first culture.
• Oversee logistics including equipment, materials, and site access to maintain clean, safe, and efficient work environments.
• Mentor and support field staff and junior superintendents to develop their skills.
• Investigate incidents or accidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control related to field operations.
