Job summary

Groundworks, a leading foundation repair and water management specialist in North America, seeks a Senior Superintendent to direct field operations in California. You will manage crews, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, and deliver projects on time and within budget while upholding Groundworks’ high standards.

You will mentor field staff, enforce OSHA safety, participate in budgeting, and report progress to project managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction supervision or related groundwork.
• Strong knowledge of foundation repair techniques, waterproofing, and encapsulation.
• Proven leadership across multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Excellent safety awareness and enforcement capabilities.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project schedules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise onsite construction activities for foundation repair and related work.
• Coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitor schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards on all sites.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure design and company standards.
• Provide updates to project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
