Job summary

Groundworks seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations in California, supervising multiple crews on foundation repair, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation and concrete lifting projects. You’ll ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, while coordinating with project managers and clients to resolve issues.

You’ll mentor field staff, manage resources and budgets, and promote Groundworks’ safety culture and employee-ownership platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of foundation repair, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete leveling.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and project schedules.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Commitment to Groundworks' safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise onsite construction activities for foundation repair and related services.
• Manage multiple crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitor project schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
• Enforce OSHA safety protocols on all job sites.
• Mentor field staff and support junior superintendents.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control for field operations.
• Regularly report to work on time and perform other duties as assigned.
