Job summary

Groundworks, North America's leading foundation repair and water management specialist, seeks a Superintendent to lead field operations in Minnesota. You will oversee foundation repair, waterproofing, and crawl space work, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

You will mentor crews, enforce OSHA standards, coordinate subcontractors, and drive quality with a strong safety culture. Groundworks offers ownership, training, and growth opportunities in a fast‑growing company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in foundation repair, concrete lifting, or related groundwork.
• Strong knowledge of foundation repair techniques, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete leveling.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce them effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project schedules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with project management software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to uphold Groundworks’ standards of professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise onsite construction activities specific to foundation repair and related groundwork services.
• Manage and coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Monitor project schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards on all job sites.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets design specifications and company standards.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Lead safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safety-first culture.
• Oversee logistics including equipment, materials, and site access to maintain clean, safe, and efficient work environments.
• Mentor and support field staff and junior superintendents to develop their skills.
• Investigate incidents or accidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control related to field operations.
• It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
