Samet Corporation is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on a high-profile courthouse project in Charleston. You will direct all on-site trades, coordinate schedules, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance from start to finish.

The role emphasizes concrete and structural steel expertise, with responsibility for building teams, managing subcontractors, and delivering safe, on-time work in a complex civic project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and professional email etiquette.
• Minimum 7–10 years of construction experience, including 3–5 years in a supervisory role, with civic/education and courthouse project exposure.
• Experience with commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects; preference given to courthouse, civic, and education sectors.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all construction activities on assigned projects, especially civic/education facilities, with emphasis on concrete and structural steel.
• Coordinate work schedules among trades and subcontractors to integrate structural steel and concrete operations.
• Monitor progress and maintain schedules; address courthouse project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance on critical structural phases.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contracts, including courthouse documentation.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations for structural steel and concrete work.
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks for high-risk activities.
• Maintain safety documentation and conduct incident investigations.
