Job summary

Samet Corporation seeks a Senior Superintendent for Charleston, SC to lead field operations on civic and education courthouse projects. You will direct on-site trades, manage schedules, and ensure quality and safety in a complex public-building program.

You will coordinate multiple subcontractors, enforce OSHA standards, review drawings, and mentor field teams while maintaining program deadlines and government requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of construction experience, incl. 3–5 years in supervisory role on civic/education projects.
• Experience with courthouse, civic and education sector builds.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all construction activities on civic/education projects.
• Coordinate schedules among trades to integrate structural steel and concrete.
• Monitor progress and maintain schedules for courthouse projects.
• Lead safety programs and enforce OSHA regulations on site.
• Review drawings, specs, and contracts related to public projects.
• Oversee punch lists and project closeout with focus on civic requirements.
• Ensure quality control and maintain clean, safe job sites.
