Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Field Engineer for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. You will provide project field engineering specialization, work planning, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control, and subcontract coordination to ensure safe, compliant, and timely field execution.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 8–14 years of relevant experience in heavy industrial construction, with strong knowledge of ES&H, contracts, and coordination with craft teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience; or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality control, and environmental health standards (ES&H).
• Experience with field engineering, planning, material management, and subcontract coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews construction planning and packaging.
• Manages field material requisitions and takeoffs.
• Verifies quantities and tracking of field-installed materials.
