Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Piping Mechanical Field Engineer for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. The candidate will oversee mechanical activities, direct field crews, and coordinate with engineering to ensure safe, compliant installations.

Must have a bachelor's degree and 5–12 years of relevant experience; strong knowledge of Bechtel processes and field management is required. Excellent communication and ES&H awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. mega-project construction experience is preferred.
• Fluent in English and able to work in a complex construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support mechanical installation activities across construction areas.
• Coordinate schedules and material deliveries with field supervision and complete training.
• Prepare installation work packages and field change notices.
• Interface with engineering to resolve constructability issues and review drawings.
• Ensure proper material storage and conduct inspections as required.
