Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking an ES&H oversight professional for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada to ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements on-site. You will coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement and other functions to implement Bechtel's ES&H standards and manage daily site surveillance for PPE use, inspections, and safety initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-12 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of OSHA

Qualifications

• :
• Requires a Bachelor's (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910; Bechtel's ESH Core Processes (preferred).
• Experience in ES&H assessments/inspection during construction.
• Experience in managing and/or providing technical oversight of ES&H subcontractors or consultants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates a wide variety of ES&H disciplines to facilitate implementation of Bechtel's ES&H program and standards.
• Delivers toolbox talks and participates in site meetings to advise them of safety requirements.
• Assists in development and maintenance of programs for safety and environmental protection.
• Maintains ES&H databases including incident events and corrective actions.
• Performs statistical analysis of ES&H data to identify trends and improvements.
• Prepares communications, reports, and documents for program execution and records retention.
• Coordinates incident notifications, leads investigations, and prepares reports.
• Participates in employee training, emergency preparedness, and QA programs.
• Coordinates ES&H recognition programs.
