Job summary

Nicholas & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day project operations across the region. You will lead field operations on complex projects, coordinate contractors, architects, engineers, and owners, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with top safety and quality standards.

The role involves mentoring field staff, establishing field processes, and supporting growth of the Indiana operations, with extended hours and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience and lead superintendent exposure.
• OSHA-30 certification.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents accurately.
• Strong planning, scheduling and on-site coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Open the construction site daily and secure it at the end of the day.
• Lead and manage the on-site construction team.
• Develop and maintain schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate subcontractor sequencing and manpower.
• Manage deliveries and site logistics.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
• Coordinate project turnover, owner training, and closeout activities.
