Job summary

Nichols Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on a range of commercial construction projects. You will coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers to meet schedules and ensure project success.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in supervision, OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR, and a track record in government or industrial construction. This role requires strong communication and plan-reading skills and may involve security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have at least seven years of experience as Superintendent.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR certifications required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Industrial and Government construction experience a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, direct, and coordinate field operations with project teams.
• Attend meetings with Project Managers and Engineers to align objectives.
• Review blueprints and project documents to guide execution.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and OSHA requirements.
• Inspect subcontractor performance and coordinate schedules.
• Conduct project closings and update punch lists and records.
