Job summary

Nicholas & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on complex regional projects.

You will lead on-site construction teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and code requirements. The role requires 7+ years in commercial construction, OSHA-30 certification, strong communication, and ability to read plans.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience, including lead superintendent roles.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents accurately.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Open the construction site daily and secure it at night.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor activities.
• Lead the on-site construction team.
• Develop and maintain three-week look-ahead schedules and look-ahead planning.
• Coordinate subcontractor sequencing and manpower.
• Manage deliveries and site logistics.
• Lead weekly progress meetings with Project Manager, owners, architects and engineers.
• Ensure safety compliance and lead weekly safety meetings.
• Maintain daily field reports and RFIs.
