Job summary

ADTRAN is seeking a Sales Engineer to support field engagement activities including presentations, pre- and post-sales visits, lab and field trials, and customer problem solving. You will train customers, install and implement solutions, and provide other technical and sales support as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of related experience, CCNA/CCDA/ATSP preferred, and extensive travel (60%+).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• CCNA, CCDA, and/or ATSP preferred.
• Extensive travel 60%+ or more out of office, 40%+ overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Direct account and partner responsibilities for assigned territories.
• Maintain knowledge of ADTRAN products and competitive solutions.
• Provide technical and sales support including demonstrations, evaluations, and training.
• Assist in development of formal sales plans and proposals.
• Work cross-functionally with Proposals, Marketing, Engineering, etc. to keep information up-to-date.
