Job summary

You will become a field expert on MongoDB, communicate proposals clearly to diverse audiences, and contribute to product roadmap discussions while maintaining high billable utilization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development/consulting/support experience.
• Competence in Java, C#, Python, Node.js, Ruby or Go.
• Experience with databases: MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning is a plus.
• Knowledge of enterprise-scale architectures, deployment, and operations.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Motivation for a role with deep technical and customer-management elements.
• Confident in speaking and presenting to diverse customer audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for short customer-site visits.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to customer implementations across the application lifecycle.
• Deliver customer classroom training to architects, developers, and operations teams.
• Work with a delivery team of consulting engineers, PMs, and account teams.
• Build MongoDB reputation as a trusted advisor for customers.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap.
