Job summary

SAIC seeks a Senior Field Software Test Engineer to lead acceptance, integration, and regression testing for national security projects at our Upper Marlboro, MD facility and other CONUS sites.

You will configure, deploy, and test applications and microservices on on-prem and cloud platforms, develop test plans, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure software readiness for changing client requirements.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' experience with software testing in field or lab.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust and U.S. citizenship.
• Strong communication across locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with software engineering teams to test applications and microservices on on-prem and cloud.
• Develop and maintain configuration documentation and test plans.
• Test APIs/microservices, including containerized services, document issues and ensure resolution.
• Coordinate testing activities with ongoing projects and leadership priorities.
• Contribute to maintenance of testing environments and facilitate production code promotions.
• Support cross-functional teams by ensuring software is tested and ready to meet evolving needs.
