Job summary

Pace Analytical Life Sciences is seeking a Department Manager in the Technical Field Services team in the United States. The role oversees day-to-day operations for a field team, directing approximately four to ten Group Leaders and Specialists to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery.

Responsibilities include managing staffing, training, quality controls, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration to meet KPIs and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a similar field; 5+ years of related experience; 3 years of team leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff including hiring, training, and performance.
• Oversees operations, services, scheduling, inventories, quality, and team coordination.
• Assists with customer feedback coordination and responses.
• Ensures accuracy of operational databases, reports and information.
• Participates in department and cross-functional goals, KPIs, budgets, timelines, implementations, and improvements.
• Interprets and applies department policies; complies with laws and regulations.
• Promotes Pace’s mission.
