Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a seasoned leader to manage a department within our Technical Field Services team in Minnesota. The role directs four to ten group leaders and specialists, ensuring quality, productivity, and superior customer service across projects.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, cross-functional coordination, and maintaining accurate data. Travel up to 25% may be required, with a competitive compensation package and full-benefit program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or similar field and 5 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 3 years of team leadership is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff including hiring, training, and performance.
• Oversees operations: services, procedures, scheduling, inventories, quality, and coordination of activities.
• Assists with customer feedback and coordinating responses.
• Ensures accuracy of operational databases, reports, and related information.
• Participates in department and cross-functional objectives, including KPIs, budgets, timelines, implementations, and improvements.
