Job summary

Xylem is seeking an Expert Service Center Technician to perform service activities at our Houston center, working with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support shop and yard tasks while maintaining a safe work environment.

Travel up to 20% to customer sites, with a high school diploma and CDL Class A or B preferred. Required experience: 3–7 years in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing work, plus customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A or B preferred, endorsements relevant to role.
• Technical or trade school background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Assist with shop and yard tasks and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and customers.
• Travel to customer or job sites up to 20%.
