Shermco Industries is seeking a NETA Field Service Technician, Senior to join our growing team in Tennessee. You will travel to industrial and commercial sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and start-up low, medium, and high voltage equipment from 480V to 600 kV, performing transformer and switchgear tests with precision.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, NETA III/IV or electrician license, and strong PC skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical Power & Controls (EPC) or Electrical Engineering or military equivalent.
• NETA Certification (III or IV) or Electrician license preferred.
• 5+ years of switchgear testing & troubleshooting experience.
• Strong PC skills: email, internet, data entry; Excel experience; PowerDB a plus.

Responsabilités

• Field service testing at customer sites (industrial & commercial).
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and start-up electrical systems (low, medium, high voltage).
• Perform transformer tests (power, instrument), switchgear and relay testing.
• Conduct cable testing (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot).
• Travel locally/regionally; respond to emergencies; adhere to safety procedures.
