Shermco Industries is seeking a NETA Field Service Technician II to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and start-up high voltage electrical systems at customer sites. You will perform transformer tests, relay calibration, and data collection with occasional overnight travel across a regional area.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in switchgear testing, proficiency with Excel, and a NETA certification or equivalent.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree or military equivalent in Electrical Power & Controls or EE degree from ABET-accredited college.
• 2+ years of relevant experience performing switchgear testing and troubleshooting.
• NETA Certification (I, II, III or IV) or similar desired; ability to obtain as needed.

Aufgaben

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and collect data on high voltage electrical systems at customer sites.
• Perform transformer, relay, cable, switchgear and metering tests; data collection and reporting.
• Travel locally/regionally (min 40%); rotate emergency on-call duty and respond promptly to customer emergencies.
