Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer sites. You will act as a technical resource, mentor junior technicians, and support new product introductions while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will lead complex field service assignments, collaborate with engineering and support teams, and travel to customer locations as needed to resolve issues and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in field service, industrial equipment, or related technical field.
• Strong troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to diagnose complex problems independently and provide solutions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using advanced troubleshooting.
• Mentor less experienced field service technicians.
• Train peers on troubleshooting, safety, and equipment operation.
• Document service activities, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Travel to customer locations as required.
