Job summary

JBT Marel is hiring a Service Technician who will provide on-site technical support to customers, ensuring equipment operates to spec and is safe. You will interpret blueprints, perform hazard assessments, and coordinate with Sales and Customer Care for field service excellence.

Travel to customer sites with valid driver's license, train operators on safe operation and maintenance, and complete timely time/expense reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG and MIG welding to quality standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and select materials and weld types.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support ensuring equipment functions properly.
• Perform hazard safety assessments before each job.
• Set up welding equipment for various types and read blueprints.
• Train customer operators on safe operation and maintenance.
• Complete time and expense reporting weekly; travel as needed.
