Job summary

JBT Marel in the United States is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and support JBT Marel machinery at customer facilities. You will troubleshoot, install, repair, and train customers, working independently to meet customer expectations and drive service excellence.

Candidates should reside in the Midwestern U.S. and have strong English skills, technical engineering background, and experience with field service processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical and/or Software engineering or equivalent knowledge level.
• Technical college degree preferred.
• Recognized product training on food processing equipment preferred.
• Excellent English skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repair, installation, maintenance, customer training and general support for JBT Marel machinery at customer facilities.
• Maintain skills to install, troubleshoot, repair and train customers on equipment.
• Prepare and report visits to update support coordinators and field service admins.
• Set priorities per company and customer needs.
• Ensure confident, competent service and elevate issues per policy.
• Follow processes: arrange on-site meetings, perform work, manage customer experience, identify sales and service opportunities, update installed base, log hours/expenses, and debrief customers.
