Job summary
Advanced Technology Services (ATS) seeks a Senior Field Service Maintenance Technician to perform expert break-fix and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment within customer factories. You will analyze complex control systems, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, and collaborate with customers to optimize reliability and uptime.
Requirements include a technical degree or extensive industry experience, strong tool skills, and the ability to train junior staff.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
- Technical AS degree with 10 years related experience or 12 years in the industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
- Able to use basic and specialized tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
- Identify and source parts and repair items; evaluate cost/reliability.
- Independently perform maintenance and train lower level technicians.
- Troubleshoot complex control systems and analyze equipment performance data.
- Document work in service reports and operate safely in factory environments.
