Job summary
Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Field Service Technician to startup, service CDI equipment, and ensure the product meets project specifications and end-user expectations. You may provide technical training and diagnose issues on-site and at field locations.
You will travel extensively (up to 75%), work independently, and coach junior technicians. A high school diploma and HVAC-related coursework or certificate are required, with 2–4 years of field service experience; overtime/weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Electrical coursework or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
- Associate degree or technical certificate in HVAC desirable.
- Travel up to 75% in field assignments; overnight travel may be required.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as necessary.
- Positive interpersonal skills for field customer relations.
Responsibilities
- Service products and equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications.
- Provide technical support and training for CDI HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and repair units using tools; review blueprints and specs.
- Assist in creating or updating O&M manuals and test forms.
- Coach and mentor Field Service Technicians; manage warranty analysis.
